How do you respond to the question: "What's up?"?

  • "Hey; what's up?"

    It's used in place of the common hello and I hate it!

    The only thing I can really say most of the time is.. "nothing..."

    lol.



    How else would I respond to this?


  • Around my way I say "I can't call it playa" or "ain't nuttin' shawty."


  • The sky.


  • U shuld say the sky or say n2m or just tel thm wats goin on


    I always say nm and thn say wats goin on so....... do wat u wanna do


  • say your pregnant, that may take them aback a little or say 'sup back!


  • I usually just say "Good Afternoon/Morning" in German..the person will get a look that says "what the f***?" on their faces,it's really funny.

    I usually say, I give up, you tell me...


  • u can say "nothing", "chillin'", or tell them what ur doin, like "watching tv" or something.

  • I know I hate it too, although I must admit I do say it sometimes! Usually I just go "nothing really". That's a great question, I wonder how else you could answer it?

  • I say "your butt" or my dad used to say "chicken butt"
    like "what's up, chicken butt?" it is silly but my friend and I used to say it when we were in high school - we became the chickens.

    Or you can say
    "you" if it's a cute guy
    or you can say
    "the sky" if you don't like the person
    or you can say
    "me - I'm high"
    or you can say
    "sup dude?" back to them

  • if im doing nothing i say nothing.
    if im doing something, i tell them what im doing.

    or if they say TEXT "whats up?"
    and im doing nothing i usually say "hola chica"
    or just "hola" if its a guy
