What Was Your First Tattoo ?, How Mutch Was It ?, How Old Were You When You Got IT and Did It Hurt?getting it in 3 weeks....custom design of my daughter and it's going to look like she's looking out from under my skin....$700 (yes expensive but I trust this artist and did my homework on this one and I feel the best about this place), 29 yrs old, on my lower back on the side, not on my ribs or spine...hoping that it won't be too bad...i know it's going to hurt but hoping it's bearable.A small heart with two smaller flowers on each side of it, it was $70, I was 21 and it did not hurt at all. My 2nd one on my lower back tingeled a little but did not hurt either.it was on my 18 birthday me and my gurls ....its a butterfly because thats what my names mean and im obsessed with them. it hurt at first but now im addicted it cost $80 i mean its a decent size and the colors are awsomemy first was a small winged heart with a devils tail going through it on my right inside ankle. I think it was about $45 dollars. got it one week after I turned 18. Only hurt until it went numb, lol.
and now I have 5 of them, and want more :Da four leaf clover...around $50...i think i was 19...it wasn't pleasant, but it wasn't unbearable...My first was in spring '92, so I was 20 at the time. It was a rose on my left hip. I have no idea now how much it was (too long ago), but probably not that much considering the size.
My 2nd was a sunbird with 4 leaf clover on my left ankle.
My 3rd was a phoenix on my lower back.
My 4th was a Maori symbol on the back of my neck. I just got it last November. It was about $120 and was black/gray/white only (no color). The tattoo artist wouldn't touch a person for less than $50 (I heard him talking to another customer).
And YES, they do hurt.My first tattoo was just two days ago actually; Friday night. It's a red-eyed tree frog. It was $100. I'm currently 21 and yes it hurt, very badly.lol. My best friend was with me holding my hand. I think I may have squeezed it a bit too much.My first tattoo was a dolphin on my left shoulder when I was 16 and it cost £40.
My second tattoo was a celtic pattern in black and blue on the bottom of my back when I was 19 which cost £65.
My third was Mum & Dad above the celtic pattern a few months ago which cost £60.
The one on my shoulder didnt hurt as much as the ones on my back, its a bearable pain though.I just got my first one 2 weeks ago it is on my hip and it is of Andy Warhol it was 175a swallow with my sons name, £20-00, 24 i nearly passed out.
my 2nd a horse with wings £40-00, 33 i loved every minuet of it.
my 3rd a flying horse between my shoulder blades from the top of my back to the middle of my back, £60-00 35 it took 2 1/2 hours a bit sore at the end however i loved it.My first tattoo was a rose with my name in it on my upper arm.It was $110.I got it a couple of days before my 17th birthday....so I was 16. It did hurt slighty but not like how I thought it would be. I think the part that hurt the most was the outline of it!I got my first one when I turned 30 my brother wanted to get one so I didn't want to chicken out so I went with him I got a Spawn insignia on my arm it cost 85 bucks and it hurt so much that I almost passed outMy first tattoo was the Beatles Yellow Submarine, it is on my lower back. It cost me $100. I got it done in June 2006 and I was 26. It didn't really hurt all that much to have it done! I will be getting more in the future, as soon as this summer!! Can't wait!!My first tat was a yellow rose on my shoulder. It had my late husband's intials under it. It cost $50. We got 2 for $100. I was in my twenties. After he died, I had it made into a memorial tat. It stings a little but if it really hurt I wouldn't have "sleeves".I was 18, it is a tattoo of a crescent moon, at the tip of the moon there is a bat hanging by a noose, and the moon is crying a blood tear, it was something I had designed,so it does have a meaning to me, it was $100.00, and it didn't hurt it was just a little uncomfortable, since then I have gotten the Egyptian god Anubis on my arm, i got this because I have always been fascinated with Egyptian history, and have a fascination with Anubis, I'm currently sketching up something else for my next tattoo, I haven't regretted them, I love my tattoos because they mean something to me and in the end that's all that matterscure $25 18 no it is on my for arm not a very tender place if u want 1 2 hurt try your spine that hurtFirst tattoo: same thing W. Axl Rose has on his left arm it is a flag and a banner saying Victory or Death.
Cost: $30.00
Age:16 years old
Hurt: YES! The part of my arm where I got it was very tender( later tattoos hurt much less.My cousin drew a butterfly for me before I moved away from home. (First one in our family that went to college) I got it on my shoulder so I could cover it or show it. It was about 80 bucks. I was 21 when I got it. I am terrified of needles so I was really nervous, but when he started doing it I was like "Is that it, that doesn't hurt"My first tat was an immense lily with a small fairy hiding under it, which is on my back (left shoulder blade). I was 25 when I got it. It was absolutely 100% free because my husband is a tattoo artist and YES, it hurt!! They all do! But, if I had someone else do it, it would have been around $450 (it's quite large, but beautiful)a butterfly with a tigers face inside with grass and flowers coming from top and bottom i got it when i was 19 payed 500 (it startsat the end off my tailbone and goes a lil more than half walfway up my spine) hurt like hellMy first tat was my daughter name going through a red rose on the back of my neck. I was 22 at the time. It didn't hurt it felt more like a pinching feeling. It was 25.00.my first one was around my 18th birthday, i got a heart with an X through it. it is the symbol of my fav band, its on my back, it was like $25 i think.First tattoo was a pegasus on front of left shoulder (just above the breast) and it was $50 i think. I was 30 at the time.
2nd one was 3 years later when i had background done around my pegasus.
3rd one is a Haida Raven between my shoulder blades. I was 36 for that one.
Still looking for number 4. I will find it eventually.I got this tattoo of "777" on my arm, my first one, it costed $80, and it hurt a bit, nothing to be scared about tho.I was around 22 or 23, it was a Maple Leaf on my left upper bicep, and I think it was like $ 35. It didn't hurt, it was more of an annoyance than anything. The outline "hurts" more, the filling in and shading is nothing. Once it is done it feels like a bad sunburn, and will last a couple days.My first one is my son's name on my shoulder blade. It was about 30 bucks and it did hurt a little. My second on it on my lower back. It is a tribal with a black rose inside of it. I forgot what i paid but i can tell you that i wanted to scream bloddy murder cause that **** was painful.A rose on my ankle
about $30(the guy who did it was my best friend.i got a discount)
I was 17
It hurt like hell! Its the chinese Kanji for friends, it cost me $30 bucks I got it on top of my right foot, I was 18, and it hurt so damn bad some how I ended up with 6 more, not sure how!I was 42 and my son went with me and got his first tat also. It was a very bold outline of a butterfly. I got it redone at 50 for a more feminine look and had a rose with the breast cancer ribbon for my second tat. It cost about $80 for the butterfly (both times) and $40 for the other one. YES, IT HURT LIKE HELL every time. I don't regret it though............they make me feel sexy!!A pink ribbon with turquoise and lavendar beads and eagle feathers wrapped around my ankle. It cost $160. I was 27. And yes it hurt at first. My first tat was a black heart. I think it was $30, my bro bought it for my 18th bday. I don't remember it being very painful but that was 8 years ago. If I knew then what I know now about tat's I likely wouldn't have got a tat on my pelvic bone, and I sure wouldn't have gone to the shop I did. See I have had a baby and now the tat is stretched out. The shop used bad ink and the black heart is more gray now, not to mention the artist did a terrible job. I now have 5 tat's and my first is the only one I don't like. word of advise, chose your shop very carefully (do your research, ask questions, see their work) and chose the place on your body with just as much care (will it keep you from getting jobs? will it fade from sunlight easier than covered places? will it stretch with weight gain? etc)
good luck hope I was of some help :)#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
