I really want to get this really cool shark tattoo(because I am a swimmer) on my inner part of my hip (where there is more skin and fat) and I want to know if it will hurt there? and if it is a good reason to get a tattoo? Thanks!!
MoSkIewhether or not it will hurt depends on your tollerance for pain. tattoos hurt most when you go over bone, so if your in an area that is mainly skin and fat, you should be ok, at least better than if you went over your hip bone. please take into consideration that if you get it on your hip, any time you loose weight, or gain weight, it will show in the tattoo. your shark may end up looking like a whale if you gain too much. tattoos are cool if done well, and if you take lots of time to think about what you want. i wont get a tattoo unless i have seriously considered it for at least a year. i think about every part of it. will i regret this design later? what will this part of my body look like in five years? in ten years? is it in a place that will be acceptable when i apply for new jobs? how will someone else interpret my tattoo? i know what it means, but do i really want to have to explain it all the time? think about it long and hard...LONNNNNGGG and HARRRRRDDDD. make sure its something you wont regretYes it will - punching holes in the skin hurts . . . the reasons are entirely up to you whether to get one . . . the biggest question is: "Will I want this tatoo fifteen years from now?" because you will still have it (awfully embarrassing if your boyfriend Bill asks why "Ted" is tatooed on your chest)Let me put it to you like this if you need someone to OK your tattoo then you don't need to get one.I have 5 of them i never asked anyone if they thought it was OK to get one.People get tattoo's because they want to not because people say its OK. And if it will hurt that depends on how you tolerate pain the only one on me that hurt is the really really large one on my upper back.nno dont get a tattoo a gurl looks more sexy with just their natural skin and nothin on it, well thats what i think but its not my body so...it is going to hurt some no matter where you get it but if there is more skin and fat then it just wont hurt as much as on the bone but yea i think it is a good reason to get a tattoo if you really want it then you should get it im not quite sure that i personally would get one on the inside of my hip but if that is what you want go for it... hope i could help : )I have a tattoo on my right inner hip. It didn't really hurt that bad. I have a high pain tolerance though. It did hurt some...I mean it's a needle puncturing your skin over and over, but it honestly sounds worse than it feels.of course it's going to hurt. It's needles going under your skin. Silly rabbit.
Where there is muscle and fat under the skin, it is going to be less painful there than somewhere like your foot or your wrist. But it's still going to hurt. It's like when you cut yourself lightly when you shave your legs. It stings, a lot. I'm not going to lie. But people have different tolerance levels for pain. You aren't going to know until you do it if it's too much for you.
If you are worried about being able to take the pain, go in for a consult with a tattoo artist, and ask tell them you are afraid of it. They should be willing to show you what it feels like, with the needles, with no ink before you commit to a tat.
The outline is MUCH worse than the shading or coloring. It's like the difference in getting one or just a couple of hairs caught on something and pulling on ALL the hair on your head at the same time. The latter doesn't hurt so much...
I also have a suggestion for you. Take the approximate image you want, and either draw it, transfer it, or get a similar temp tattoo either one of the ones they make for kids, or do one in henna or something, and live with it for a couple of weeks. If after 2-4 weeks, you are still absolutely sure it's what you want, where you want it, THEN go thru with it. If you aren't sure, wait until you are sure.
I have a rose on my right ankle. I still love it after 17 years of having it there, and am finally considering my next tattoo. I know what I want and where I want it. It's taken me about 9 years to get that exactlly right. But I have never ever regretted my first tat, and I always knew I'd eventually get another.yer its still gunna kill, I personally hate tatoos and think they look bad, expecially when you get older, but hey, its your choice...Yes, it will hurt. But if it's something you want to do and you find a design you're really keen on, I'd say go for it. Chances are if you've thought this through and sat on it for a while, and you still want it then you won't end up regretting it.
Also the inner part of your hip is a place you can hide quite easily if you need to (for job interviews, visiting your grandparents etc!)no - if you have to ask, the answer is always no
it's only yes when you are confident enough not to ask
that means you feel good about your decision and are comfortable with what you are thinking about doingIt'll hurt, but not as much because it's not on the hipbone. BUT, if you decide to get it on your inner hip, when you get pregnant, there is a LARGE chance that your tattoo will stretch and will appear permanently stretched.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
