I need to find a date?

  • my boyfriend and i are taking a 'break' for a little while. he wants me to get to know some good guys and then decide if i still want to be with him. it's a mutual thing, and i love him very much, but i think it would be helpful to see who's out there.

    my problem, though..is i don't know where to find anyone and how to approach them. any ideas?
    i'm 19


  • the bad part was taking a break. you shouldn't do that. and 2nd what is he's problem trying to get you to talk with other boys. men i just don't get them. so it seems that your x wants this over think about it? what do u think?


  • It's easy to find dates, but hard to find dates that don't just want that one thing. Maybe you can meet people through a church or through mutual friends.

    As far as approaching them, and this is coming form a guy, every guy likes his ego stroked. Approach him and start talking to him. You'll not only make him feel good about himself, but you'll probably get yourself a date too!
