  • What is, and how to enable: Roaming User Profiles, file ghosting. What apps do you suggest Best route for remote login/remote files/admin/etc Right now I use a 60 GB USB laptop HD and change the shortcut My Documents on the desktop to E:MyDocuments. That way I do not keep any of the files on my laptop. Also, I saw a USB harddrive that had software to store user profile/login settings on a USB flash memory. Please list any useful info you know on the topic.


  • I am already using remote user profile, so this question is more about best (as well as all possible) methods to relocate user data to a location off the first HD and beyond.
