Integrating YUI base.css to augment reset.css

January 8th, 2009
  • The browser-equalizing baseline styles in reset.css were inherited from
    http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/reset/

While this levels the browser playing field, it also makes some atypical default behavior choices. For example bulleted lists no longer have bullets, ordered lists no longer display order numbers, and headings are all the same size regardless of which tag you use.

Yahoo has an additional layer available to place over reset css to give a still-consistent, but more typical style behavior here:
    http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/base/

This would make adding Ext to an existing site or application much less work.

Any chance of this being adopted within Ext?

    I second this request.
