Outpost Config. memory settings ???

  • i start Outpost from a double click on a desktop icon.And though i ALWAYS set it to start like this (see screenshot attatchment) it NEVER remembers that setting and always reverts to starting like this (see follow up attatchment). Any thoughts?


  • We set that in to-do. However the priority is rather low as the problem is not critical.


  • Mine does the same thing so I am guessing that that is not a setting that gets saved when you select save or exit & shutdown. Mine does the same. I forwarded the thread to the developers.

  • ****! lol. cos there's a difference of between 5MB and 10MB background memory consumption .Ah well,i'll wait to see if the others have an idea. (And don't mention VERSION 2 - all will be fixed! ,lol)

  • You might try to do a save with it looking like you want, then save as to your backup folder.
    Then shut down and reload the save as to saee if that becomes the default.
    If that doesn't work, then its probably a registry thing, but I don't know. Maybe Diniska can help.
    As long as it doesn't start up like mine does.

    Um,i don't think so...it's taken me 3 months to work out how to get a screenshot posted here! As for suggesting ways to fix Outpost - i'll leave that to the experts.Although i consider myself blessed compared with Root.I'd reinstall Outpost if i were you Root. lol
