When did Russia attack Georgia?

    there will be huge nuclear bombs coming our way.

    it is really scary to think about.

  • On August 8,2008 Georgia enacted a major offensive to retake the autonomous of South Ossetia. In response Russia sent in troops into the region.


  • Georgia attacked South Ossetia on the 8th August 2008. Russia did NOT attack Georgia. Unless you consider defending the civillians of South Ossetia an attack.

    Georgia wanted to retake the breakaway republic of South Ossetia. They killed 2000 people in 24 hours. They killed innocent civillians and rode over elderly women and children with tanks.

    Russia defended South Ossetia and and pushed the Georgian troops outside the South Ossetian border. How many Georgians died? Around 12 people. See a difference?

    When Georgia bombed South Ossetia , the South Ossetian capital , Tskhinval , didn't exist. Just like Stalingrad didn't exist after WWII.

    And the Russians are the bad guys , aren't they?
