scanners/35mm/6x7/5x4/neg

  • hi. i would like to get a good scanner, that can scan 35mm/6x7 and poss 5x4 negs. Can it be a flat bed as i dont trust anything with moving parts going in and out of a machine like a c.d draw to last too long...but i dont know, just experience. I want to be able to print from the scans, bigish if needs be.any ideas.thank you very much.


  • For flatbeds, Epson all the way.... 4990 or V700.

  • i too am looking for a film scanner. have you looked at the canon line. its pretty cheap compared to other film scanners. i tried ebay and bunch of them go into the thousands.
