I lost my id's. Can I still buy rated M games at Toy's R Us with a credit card?

  • I lost my wallet and all my cards were inside. I have requested a new license I still had an extra credit card at home. I am planning of taking advantage of the Toys R Us buy 2 games get 1 free tomorrow. I am planning on buying rated M games paid by my credit card. Does Toys R Us check ids when buying rated M games and paying with credit card. I am 20 years old with scrubble facial hair and you only have to be 17 to buy those games. Now the question is what do I say when they ask for my id. Can I say I lost it and will toys r us accept this answer or am I stuck asking my dad to buy them for me?


  • If you look old enough, like at 20's, you dont need to show the driver's license card. thats how they do it in toys 'r us at my place. and i dont think you can buy it with a credit card. when you buy something with a credit card, you have to show your license. i am sorry


  • Well it mostley depends on the cashier. If it is truely obvious you are older then the minnimum limit then they should let you off the hook but if the person is uptight they may not let you get them, but you can try and ask them if they can check your age via credit card.

    The best thing to do is to just go up straight forward and tell the employee that you lost your wallet with your id but you want to knwo if you can still get the games.
