Pack Your Travel Umbrella

November 18th, 2008
So you're off jet setting half way around the globe on that glorious vacation that you've been waiting almost a year for. Good for you! You'll want to pack right and one of those basics just got to take is your travel umbrella.

Here is an affordable yet ever so versatile accessory that can protect you from both the sun and rain, and it can even guard you from the wind. And it isn't just functional it can add an important element to your fashion accessories. Just choose right.

Whether you are taking a trip across town, across the country, or across the planet you should never leave home without your umbrella. A travel model is nice and compact and can easily tag along on your travels.

And don't forget to make the most of it. It should become an important fashion accessory no just a tag along. Coordinate with shoes and/or handbag. Choose colors, designs, or patterns that reflectyou and your personality as well as your fashion style.

You can purchase a travel umbrella for as little as $10 or you can spend more than $100 if you are in the market for a designer umbrella. Ralph Lauren, Prada, Christian Dior, Fendi, or the list could go on and on with so many designers on the market.

If your budget will allow a designer purchase that's always a nice touch however if your budget can't quite handle that extra cost not to worry as there are fabulous choices that have nothing to do with any designer and will cost you a fraction.

Now something else to consider - why not buy a new umbrella at your destination. What a great way to bring home a functional souvenir and often you'll find a style that you can't get at home. It can be a lot of fun!!

And think about what a great statement that will make when you return home and the conversation piece it will be. So when on vacation keep your eyes open for that fun and funky umbrella.

Oh by the way - there's no rule that says you can only have one umbrella for traveling. Wouldn't it be great to have a few of them especially if you do a fair bit of traveling? That way you could have ones that are specific to sunny areas and those that are in tune to rainy areas.

So all that you need to do is decide what size, style, and type of travel umbrella suits you. Don't forget to take advantage of the selection online!
